The research goal of Wireless Communication Lab. is to improve the communication system performance by applying advanced digital communication theory for the wireless communication system. Especially, we are conducting research on signal processing and channel coding techniques to increase the system capacity and the transmission data rate.

To do this, our research is based on OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) and MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output). We are studying the relay system, the performance improvement of  distributed antenna system and the latest issues of wireless communication such as interference management, physical network coding. Also, our Wireless Communication Lab. plays a leading role in the project of international next generation wireless communication standardization with Samsung Elec. and LG Elec.
